Sur une bute aux abords de Koudougou, un terrain de soccer central est entouré de bureaux, de salles de cours, de magasins, d'ateliers, de jardins et d'oeuvres d'art; environ 1 km carré de tranquilité, d'action, d'initiatives de développement. Le va-et-vient de gens et de véhicules de toutes sortes est incessant du matin au soir.

On a low hill in the outskirts of Koudougou, a central soccer field is ringed with offices, school rooms, shops, workshops, gardens and artworks: a square kilometer of serenity, action and development initiatives. People and vehicules of all kinds come and go non-stop from sunrise to sunset.

Benebnooma, Organisme Non Gouvernemental et partenaire d'EMMAÜS International, est un feu roulant de projets, produits et services; construction, agriculture, beaux-arts, ingénierie et métallurgie, aide aux démunis, assistance sociale, formation professionnelle, éducation primaire et secondaire, hotellerie, une troupe de musiciens et danseurs, réutilisation et recyclage de matériaux divers, entraînement sportif, une radio qui diffuse a 150 km, un studio de télévision communautaire, une imprimerie...

La Cité des Arts de Koudougou est une entreprise gérée par Benebnooma: jardin, ateliers d'artisans, hôtel et restaurant très sympa. A Benebnooma-run venture includes a garden, open-air crafstmanship studios, hotel and restaurant with great ambiance near downtown.

Félix, gérant de l'atelier de métallurgie situé sur le site principale de Benebnooma, fait une réparation éclair sur un vélo. Felix, the main metal workshop's manager, does a quick repair job on a bicycle.

Entre métallurgie et beaux-arts, de nombreuses sculptures donnent du piquant au site de l'Association. Many metal sculptures help students merge work and play, and they spice up the landscape nicely.

Benebnooma, a Non-Governmental Organization and a partner of EMMAÜS International, is a groundswell of projects, products and services: construction, agriculture, mechanical engineering, fine arts, help for the poor, social assistance, professional training, primary and secondary education, hostelling, a music and dance troop, reutilisation and recylcing of various materials, sports training, a 150-km radius radio station, a community television studio, printing shop...
